Brabantia Front Large Bread Platinum Review

Love the quality, internal size and flat top. The magnetic door is very reliable. I've been looking for a month and it's just perfect.

Extends the shelf life of my homemade bread by at least 3 days. Worth the price. Looks neat on the counter and since the top is near the cabinet lights it's also a good place to lift the bread.

I had no luck buying a bread box. I think I bought 3 (from different manufacturers) and they all arrived crumpled. This bread box is spacious. It snaps into place with a magnet, and the finish seems to hide fingerprints better than others. However, it was also the most expensive. It had a small dent and I sent it back.

After reading reviews and mentioning many dents I decided to give it a try because the size was what I was looking for. On arrival there was a dent just in the top right corner in a very prominent place. It was also very thin. Returned immediately. I strongly do not recommend this item.

I bought this for its size and sleek, modern look. Concerned by the many reviews that it was dented upon receipt, I decided to take a chance. BIG MISTAKE! The first box arrived late and was badly dented. I reordered and the second one came crumpled up too! I also notice that it is very light and thin. I would skip that.

Bought as "used - like new", the box arrived intact but the goods are badly crumpled (see photo). I've always thought of Brabantia as a nice/meaningful brand with well-made products. It feels really fragile/lightweight/cheap. I'll probably reorder this as it's the only black bread box with that hinged front lid that I need in my space, but I wish it was a sturdier box. 2 stars because it's beautiful and I like its functionality.

I like my new bread box. It's so roomy and easily stores all of my baked goods. I love that it has a flat surface at the top to store your Costco croissants on. My old bread box was designed in such a way that every time the door was lifted, everything inside was crushed. This is no longer a problem because it opens outwards.
