Description of 🧦 Enhance Comfort and Hygiene with BraceAbility Replacement Sock Liner for Orthopedic Walking Boots: Ideal Medical Tube Socks for Air Cam Walkers and Fracture Boot Casts (High-Top, Pack of 2)"

ONE SIZE FITS MOST: This universal, high top sock (19 inches tall) fits women's and men’s left or right feet and is available in a single or 2-pack option. Compatible with short or tall walking boots. UNIVERSAL FOR ALL WALKER BOOTS & BRACES: Designed for use with all orthopedic walking boots, including post op surgical shoes, foot cast boots, closed toe medical walking shoes, air cam walkers, and air cast walker boots. USE FOR: These socks are intended to help reduce skin irritation while wearing a foot brace or walking boot. However, its mild compression also makes it useful for diabetes, leg fatigue, foot, ankle and leg swelling, circulatory problems, edema, and neuropathy. MATERIAL STAYS DRY TO ELIMINATE ODOR: This closed-toe, stretch tube sock is made with a cotton, polyester, lycra, and spandex blend. The latex-free, 100% synthetic fibers allow for superior moisture absorption to keep your foot and leg dry, while the thick cushioned-knit provides optimal warmth and comfort. NON-CONSTRICTING FIT: The improved cross stretch knit material provides targeted compression and heat retention to improve circulation around your sore foot, ankle, and leg, which reduces swelling and encourages blood flow to speed up your healing process.

Good thick breathable sock for cast

I needed a thick cotton sock to wear under the cast to keep the cast clean. They stretch enough to be easy to put on even when my foot is swollen and provide an adequate physical barrier when I freeze my foot. Much more comfortable than the other pair I ordered. My only complaint will be that I don't understand why they are white, I am bleeding from cuts and tissue necrosis from a foot injury and they are already stained. Can they be bleached?

Perfect Socks: Orthotics, Splints and Bandages

These socks were ordered for a friend with peripheral neuropathy. Socks are difficult to put on when hands are not working very well. High socks were required to protect the skin on the feet from the necessary orthopedic insoles. It's almost impossible to find very low compression knee socks in stores and I took a chance ordering them but they are exactly what he needed and he loves them. He is very tall and these socks are perfect. I will be ordering another pair very soon.

I'm very unhappy with them, but it's my fault I'm not.

If you need soft, shock-absorbing, thick and warm clothing, then this is what you need. I'm very dissatisfied with them, but it's my fault for not reading the description carefully. I've only been out of a leg cast for a few days and was looking for a super thin cotton liner to replace what the doctor gave me with my hiking boots. This "liner" is thick; not what i wanted. If you're looking for a thick, warm sock to line your hiking boots, this one will do (although it has a toe seam). It's too…

Excellent even for very large calves

Received the goods yesterday and immediately after unpacking put a sock on my foot which I had surgery 5 weeks ago. After changing to a hiking boot, there was a significant swelling, although I don't do any sport myself yet. Not only has this sock made my foot feel better, it seems like a cool material that helps. It also helps with increased pain. Now I have very large calves due to lipoedema. 23 inches. The sock really overwhelmed the calf. I am very satisfied and can only recommend this…

They work well, a bit fragile but comfortable

After surgery for OCD of the talus I could not carry weight for 6 weeks. The cast was removed after 2 weeks and I got an air cast. I had a roll of knit tubing from my SO's previous ankle surgery but it's driving me crazy that I have a dangling toe. I ordered them, put them on and they are very comfortable. The stitching on the toes is annoying as others have said, but I'm fine with that for now. I don't wear Aircast very often, but I appreciate the low level of protection these socks have…

Perfect for my low walking shoes

I've been wearing short walking shoes for almost two months and these socks have made them bearable. I like everything about them. They are thick, resilient, and smooth inside and out. They stay on their own but I usually wear thin golf underneath for more protection. It also serves to hold in place some of the pads I tuck in between my socks. They are a good length for short boots, reaching to the knee and getting a little shorter after washing (I hang them to dry). I found the low version…

Comfortable sock for use with a CAM boot but it shrinks

It has been 7 weeks since I suffered a closed spiral fracture of the distal third of the fibula at the ankle. I have decided to purchase more BraceAbility medical socks to help me gradually transition from zero loading at 50% and then to partial loading when I can tolerate it. These socks are thick and protect the injured foot. I'm a size 7 1/2 and they fit well. I have tried thin socks from the hospital but my skin complains of discomfort. In addition, the BraceAbility product provides some…

Too short, not as pictured and not worth the asking price.

As a general practitioner (and unintentional Air Cast user), the sock worn over a fiberglass cast, Air Cast or Cam Walker should reach the device it is under, which is usually nearby of the upper portion should end of the lower leg for fractures, severe sprains, or Achilles tendon injuries since shorter devices dig into the lower legs. To protect the skin and prevent excessive sweating and soiling of the inside of the bandage, the sock should reach the edge of the shin. an hour after putting on

Socks Ankle Surgery Cam Boot

Bought after ankle surgery which left cuts on the heel and both sides of the ankle. I just about bought one thinking they were sold as a pair so I'm glad I bought a pair or two. It's nice to have an extra while the wash is in progress. Needs a thicker sock than the thin sleeve I left the orthotics with. This sock is the best barrier between boots and scabs healing at the seams. Yes, it can be a bit hot, but I just hang that leg out from under the covers at night, and now it's not summer for me.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
