I think you get what you pay for. I received the black color and the coating on it started to get mottled and faded after only 1 week of wearing. Save money and time by buying a higher quality one. I have to spray it now or wrap it

THIS IS NOT FOR TOWING! The description should state that these are decorative, not functional, tow hooks. The aluminum bolt cannot support the weight of the advertised vehicle (a Golf in my case). IT IS DANGEROUS TO USE THEM FOR REAL TOWING!

The Golf version fits my 2013 sports car perfectly. I have used this to secure stuff on my roof rack and it has worked really well for me for this use. Good fit and finish, it's aluminum so maybe a little easier to tow. I was happy with the product.

Where people say they aren't meant for "towing", towing with them is about getting on and off the track, on a trailer anyway or MAYBE a light one cuvette. If you're spending $20 on a hitch, you can't count on the strength of titanium and the cost of a toothpick

Without actual use in action I was curious to see what it would be like. It went in easily (counter thread) and looks great. Durable yet lightweight. If I actually take something with me, I can write a better review. So far it adds to the aesthetics of my car. Sticks out a little more than I'd like, but I bought it in case I ever need someone to help me. I wanted to make my sports car a little more functional than being a nice fast car. Love it.

This is a pretty decent tow hook but made from cheap materials, mine is only a month old and already rusting. I tightened it and it broke. Another important note is functionality. I don't trust this product enough to even try to pull or be pulled on anything. The threads are actually a little frayed from having just ridden. They never felt like they really fit. I would say save your money, use the original hitch or buy a better one.
