Luckily I kept one of the intact brackets from my original one and still had the thermal paste. Too bad it broke in less than a year. The low price makes me give it two stars instead of one. If you order this and still have a mount that hasn't snapped off your old one, keep it in a place where you won't forget it. Kind of a shame, really. This even happened with my first AMD computer (different processor). I see a pattern with AMD heatsinks.

Works properly. It certainly didn't look thin. Do not overtighten the screws on the motherboard. The load must be borne by the baseplate, not the mobo, and over-tightening can break the ear. There may be other problems here. If there are problems with the breakdown I will update. No updates, no crashes. Looks nice and new but this one somehow passed quality control with only 3 out of 4 screws. Not impressed at all. It was neither in the product bag nor in the transport packaging. Not sure if it's Revain that ships it or if the manufacturer's quality control is just terrible. But I wasn't impressed, now I'm losing money on a computer project because I have to either buy a screw or wait for a replacement. Will probably send this one back.
