Yellow tape is highly visible but much thinner than the tape previously used. I don't know how long it will be if the weather permits. My biggest complaint is that it keeps falling off the reel unless you use tape to keep it from unwinding - a major inconvenience when working in the field. Other tapes I've used haven't done this - you could just slip them in your pocket when you're done.

I use this to block off grass when trying to grow new grass. This is to discourage people from walking on it and discourage the garden boys from chopping it down before it's done. I drive stakes into the ground around the area I'm blocking and then drag them around the stakes to block the area. The tape is clearly visible against the background of a green lawn or brown dirt. It's affordable and works well. It's even reusable. A good thing.

I used this marking tape for rainforest research. The flags were easy to see in the dark undergrowth and defied the harsh conditions of the tropics.
