This strap is designed for heavy use and is sufficient to carry inrush current. I would rate it at least #8 AWG or better. Used to ground the Onan 2500 Microlite generator to the case frame.

great product, exactly as described. Our length is actually 9.75 inches from end to end. width 1 inch. Worked great for my application - to extend the ground clamp on my MIG welder. Material - copper plated with silver paint.
