I had high hopes for these Brainwavz headphones but couldn't get them to perform consistently. I've had them since the middle of last year and mostly listened to pop music. I bought this as an alternative to JVC Marshmallows which are quickly declining in quality and durability. I was looking for some noise canceling in-ear headphones with remote/mic and good sound. I saw the Wirecutter review, looked at the other reviews and bought it. I've currently been using these headphones for about 8 months to commute to and from work on a crowded New York City subway and store them in a hard case with velcro closure to keep the coils from tangling (I wrap them very gently)
