Low Cut Male - Male

I have used this product to trim short beard hair and it has worked well. It often took several passes to cut all the hair to the desired length. I particularly like the adjustable incision. I recently grew a beard when trying to trim it with this trimmer, it basically parted the hair without cutting much of it. I bought another brand that went through with no problems. Wouldn't recommend it.

A barely adequate trimmer not worth getting

Very disappointed with this trimmer. He's too weak or something. It works enough to keep my beard at a certain length, but it shapes my beard terribly. I miss a lot so it takes multiple passes to go through and it can't see an edge like other trimmers I've used in the past. I think his blade is moving too slowly, that could be a problem. But for whatever reason, now I have to look for another trimmer.

It worked for a while.

I bought this trimmer in December 2016 or about 15 months ago. It worked for several months then refused to take a charge but instead of returning it I decided to just leave it on the cord. Now when it's on, it will buzz for a few seconds and turn off completely even if it's still connected to the network. In terms of speed, cutting power etc I have no comparison as this is my first trimmer. My next one won't be brown.

Consistent, sharp and offers a variety of lengths. Highly recommended!

I lost my previous beard trimmer on a trip abroad and had to buy a new one. I prefer this. The length adjuster is very easy to adjust - you just need to pay attention to the "number" you want to use and make sure it is set to that number. The cutting length is very constant and the blades are sharp. It is also cut into various lengths, including very short ones. Other trimmers I've used have been less stable than this one. Also fast charging. Another reviewer mentioned that it needs oiling all…

Cheap leaves uncut and partially cut hair not worth buying

When I think of Braun products I think of performance, feel and a clean cut. I used to have a razor and loved it. It's not like their other products. It's a cheap feel, sound and performance piece of junk. Not only does it hurt if you use it without protection, be prepared for a haircut, if you use it with protection, be prepared for the hair to be left uncut or partially trimmed. Guards can also be installed incorrectly as they can buckle out of track, resulting in uneven mowing. With a…

Excellent, but there is one major downside.

When my 6 year old Braun Cruzer broke again - and this time I can't fix it - I decided to replace it with the current model BT5050. It's as good or better than my Cruzer and the comb tips seem stronger and less likely to break. Everything is fine except for one thing: the BT5050 uses Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries, not Lithium Ion (Li+). The comparison chart on the Revain website says it has lithium batteries, but that's not true. It uses NiMH (I have notified Revain). This is important…

It worked fine at first, fell to the ground after a few months

I had this trimmer about a year ago. It was decent initially as it was my first bear trimmer. After about 6 months the performance really started to drop. I last used it about 3 days ago, it doesn't cut at all and takes dozens of passes just to thin out my beard. By the time I was done, my face was covered in half-cropped hair that kept clinging to the collars of my shirt and coat. a brownie trimmer as a backup, but for now I'll just throw it away. I tried to salvage this one by washing and…

Muscular enough for a manly man

So I need a trimmer because I have tons of hair on my head, face and even my ankles. lol. I got this to replace my old Wahl wired trimmer, well not a replacement but to have one specifically for my face. So far it's amazing - the motor is a lot quieter than other trimmers I've had (yes, I service them regularly) and a lot sharper (yes, even when the others were new). Did I mention it's WIRELESS?! Love it. Adjustable sockets are also great with "mm" indicators and adjustment locks on them. 10/10
