🪒 Braun Series 9 9293s Electric Shaver: Precision Trimmer, Rechargeable, Wet & Dry Foil Shaver - Review and Travel Case Review

I've had it less than a year and it closed. It turned on and off while I was in other rooms, closed/off when I shaved with it, and this morning it stopped working entirely, leaving me with a half-shaved face. I've had a Norelco for five years which I reluctantly replaced (the charger broke as did the shaving head and I'm not sure I could find a replacement for either). Should have gotten a Norelco replacement in the first place, would have saved the $300 I spent on it.

Like most poor Americans, I remember how much money I have in my bank account when I buy things. I bought this Braun Series 9293s shaver because I figured I could add a cleaning station a little later after the shaver was originally purchased. I have had this shaver for 9 months now and have had it repaired 4 times. FOUR TIMES! A month or two will work fine and then stop working completely. I couldn't get a refund because the problem arose after the return period had expired. I use it in the shower and I suspect it's not exactly waterproof. The problem appears to be electrical in nature. My last shaver was the Panasonic Arc 4. I've used it every day in the shower for about 5 years with no problems.

This is a fantastic electric shaver! It easily removes a 3 day old build up on my neck and is the most comfortable shave I have ever had. It's so comfortable I don't mind shaving. I've used the Panasonic ES-LA93 for 4 or 5 years but it didn't cut the 3 day growth on my neck very well and pulled the hair out which made shaving very uncomfortable.
