A normal product, but they wanted more for the money.

I had 3 Panasonic and 3 Brown razors. I decided to buy this instead of Panasonic GA-21. The old one has become, the batteries are already weak, and it's time to change the knives with a mesh, and the price is space, it makes no sense. If you shaved the day before late in the morning, and the next day early in the morning, then Brown does not shave off the "young" stubble. But compared to Panasonic, it shaves the neck better. The Panasonic GA-21 blade speed is 13 thousand rpm, the shaving…

Pros
  • Convenient body. A securely fixed protective cover that covers both the grid and the on button. The head is really "floating," easily recessed. Full battery charge in just an hour, for 1 shave in 5 minutes.
Cons
  • After shaving, it is difficult to remove the head with a wet hand - it slips off. Low blade speed. "Does not like" a small "fresh" stubble, this is if you shaved less than a day ago. Shaves it badly. Noisy.

Great quality, happy with it one hundred percent!

Trimming my beard is a big deal for me. It is not very long, but it is thick and hard. Therefore, when I tried to shave it with my previous machine, I constantly pinched it painfully. Well, I'm a man - I can be patient. A more serious problem was that the blades on the machine quickly became dull, and shaving turned from an unpleasant necessity into torture. I don't go to barbershops for ideological reasons. I am not ready to pay 500 “for trimming”. I already wanted to order some cheap…

Pros
  • Both nozzles for 1-10 and 11-20 millimeters are very easy to put on and take off. I constantly overdo it with strength and break everything, so for me this is a very big plus. I can't say anything about the blades yet, as I haven't used them for long. They shave smoothly and effortlessly, do not pull the beard, do not get dull and do not rust. The booklet said they were self-sharpening. So far, I have no reason not to believe the manufacturer. The trimmer is not exacting to leaving. It is convenient to wipe it with a brush, but when I'm too lazy, I calmly wash it in water. Kosyakov did not notice at work after that. There are no problems with the battery at all. I charged the trimmer to the full before the first shave and use it without recharging for the entire service life. At the same time, I can’t say that I shave rarely or quickly. Well, how I shave. Separately, I want to say about the bonus that comes with the purchase. This is a Gillette Fusion razor with one removable blade. At first, I thought for a long time why the hell should I even use a razor at a working machine. But then he tried to shave her intimate places and realized that he was wrong. Razor and trimmer complement each other very well. You can remove the hair yourself wherever they interfere. In short, a useful thing in the economy. As a result, I can say that this is an excellent professional machine for its price. I don't bother with shaving or grooming. A couple of movements - and you can go out. The beard is neat and pleasant to the touch. My woman loves it. I recommend!
Cons
  • The 39 length settings promised on the box in 0.5 mm increments are very cool, but in reality I don’t use thirty of them. Apparently, the razor was originally sharpened for professional hairdressers who work with different types of beards.

A great option for this money, one of the best offers.

Gave this razor to my dad for his birthday. All his life he used only machine tools and did not even want to hear about electric shavers. But I decided to take the risk anyway. Initially, I thought a lot about which razor is better to take - an average cost or an expensive one, but after consulting with consultants in the store, I settled on the average cost option. The guys assured that this model has everything you need for a quality shave. I immediately decided that I would take Braun, since

Pros
  • The razor turned out to be excellent: it copes well with dad's coarse bristles (he shaves every other day). Since the head of the razor is floating, it shaves hairs on the cheeks, on the chin, and on the neck without any problems. Dad really liked that there is a wet shaving mode along with dry shaving, he only uses it. This results in less skin irritation. The shaver charges quickly and works both on mains and battery. The razor itself looks stylish and, in my opinion, is a worthy gift for any man.
Cons
  • Too bad this razor doesn't have a sheath. When I bought it, I also considered model 3 of the 3080s series, so she had a case, but it cost two thousand more, and there was essentially no difference anymore, so I didn’t dare to take it. I thought that dad would use this razor only at home, and on business trips he would take the machine, but now he has completely moved away from it, so the case is missing.

I have been looking for a decent electric shaver for my husband for a long time and stopped at the Braun 3040s Series 3. And just at that moment there was a good discount on it on aliexpress. I took it. The husband is delighted. The electric shaver is great. Thanks to the smooth, movable rotating head, it shaves everything neatly and cleanly. The quality is excellent, good assembly, everything is done qualitatively. The charge holds for a long time. And it takes a little time to charge. There…

Good product at a good price, I recommend to try it.

Comment: I have an average degree of stiffness of the bristle hair, closer to stiff))))) Oh, how!) Before I was presented with this miracle of technology, I was warned that irritation might occur after switching from the machine, to my joy it did not arise. (before Braun I used Gillet Fusion for several years and was very pleased) I was also pleased with the fundamental differences in the sensations when shaving my mustache - the electric shaver copes with this task more comfortably, losing a…

The price/quality ratio is great, I will buy again.

Every time I buy a razor, I expect some van der waffle that will magically shave my stubble as soon as I put it on, but each new razor shaves about the same as the previous one :)) This is an ordinary, unremarkable razor for a normal price, which clean shave, no stubble. I don’t need auto cleaning / lubrication / flashing indicators / display as in older models, because I usually communicate with the razor three times a week for 5 minutes and use only the on / off button. :)

Pros
  • It fits comfortably in the hand, can be washed under water, shaves cleanly, does not tear the bristles. There is a plastic cover that protects the mesh while on the road and blocks accidental pressing of the button.
Cons
  • Lack of a road cover, perhaps.

My impression of the purchase is good, buy it.

The general impression is a good razor for a slightly overpriced price (I took it for about 5000). Shaving the neck area is generally a sore subject for electric shavers (at least in the budget and mid-price segment) and this model is no exception. Has some pros The overall quality of shaving (but there are nuances that are listed in the shortcomings), does not irritate the skin even with dry shaving, the ratio of operating time / charging time (about 40 minutes and a little over an hour…

I didn't expect the quality to be so high.

This razor model from Braun is inexpensive, but copes with its task for a "solid five"! I don’t have a thick beard, maybe that’s why, but the razor shaves quickly and cleanly, without pulling the hairs and leaving no gaps. A separate plus is the presence of a battery that works for 50 minutes, charging in an hour. I take a razor with me to the country and calmly shave in the bath or on the street, without worrying about sockets. By the way, this razor has a waterproof body, thanks to which I…

I definitely recommend buying, I didn't notice any disadvantages.

I've been using it for over a year, no complaints. Perfectly shaves both dry and with foam in the shower. There is no irritation after it. This is my second Braun, the first one (from series 1) lasted about 5 years, had to be replaced due to the inability to find new heads. Series 3 shaves much faster and cleaner, yet 3 heads instead of one. You can safely take it, the razor is excellent, especially if you find it on a promotion with extra. head block in the kit and then it will definitely be…

I definitely recommend buying, I didnt notice any disadvantages.

I use a year. Shaves great. I only use dry shaving. The trimmer does an excellent job with weekly bristles, I already bring the rest of the beauty with the mesh part. In my opinion, the quietest among the previous browns and Panasonic. I have never used a wet shave, maybe I will try. Although according to the instructions, if you use a wet shave, then you need to lubricate the knives with special oil. The hair on the muzzle does not tear :) I did not change the knives and the mesh, everything…

Pros
  • Comfortable rubberized body (handle), relatively quiet, there is the possibility of wet shaving. The presence of a trimmer.
Cons
  • Not found.

I am amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

This is the best razor I have come across. Excellent value for money. Extremely happy with my purchase. The brand speaks for itself, because it is Braun. Thanks for the good product.

Pros
  • This electric razor has become an indispensable companion for me! Convenient shape, excellent quality, durable body, excellent blades that shave off any stubble, the advantages of this model can be listed indefinitely. The most pleasant thing was that now there is not a single cut or abrasion on my face. Shaving has become comfortable and safe.
Cons
  • no defects were found during the use

Best I have ever used, great product for anyone!

I took it to replace the old Soviet machine and I am satisfied. Tried with water and foam and dry - no difference. So I threw out the foam. Through trial and error, I found that the ideal length for shaving my sparse stubble is about 2 mm. In five minutes dry everything shaves to zero. And without further irritation. I rinse after every use. I lubricate with half a drop of oil a couple of times a month.

Pros
  • - It shaves cleanly, but you have to get used to it. - After shaving there is no irritation on the skin. Not at all. - Holds a charge for two months when used twice a week. - Firmly lies in a hand thanks to a soft covering.
Cons
  • With difficulty takes bristles longer than 4mm, at least if it is rare, like mine. You have to drive 10 times, push, twist, swear, get a trimmer or even an old machine.

I am satisfied, the purchase is quite successful.

This product was bought for a guy, because he wanted to for a long time, having looked at many models, he came to the choice of this one. The external and internal qualities of me, as a woman, were left in a good disposition for an electric razor. After several times the guy used this technician, he was delighted, he didn’t think that the electric razor was good at removing stubble from the face and hairs in the form of sideburns. The only drawback for him in this razor is that the hair near…

Pros
  • It removes stubble and facial hair well, leaving almost no visible hairs.
Cons
  • Leaves a little hair on the skin itself.

Razor - disappointment

Bought this razor for my husband in December. The shaving head broke a few weeks ago. I contacted them and they emailed the required documents along with a prepaid shipping label. I filled it out and sent it back, they called me right away, they said that the head had no guarantee, only the engine. I had to pay for a new head and was told it broke because my husband had apparently put too much pressure on it while using it. He arrived yesterday and shaved today and still not as effectively as…

Don't waste your money on a more expensive razor!

First I have a beard that can stop a lawnmower. It grows in several directions. In college, I won a beard growth contest in a 900-person dorm. I've been shaving for decades and have tried all brands of blade (inconsistent and messy), rotary (oops!) and foil (my favorite). Nothing worked better than this $60 Braun razor. I've had razors that cost many times more and they didn't work any better. All the fancy features of more expensive devices are just noise. Swivel heads that keep you away from…

Satisfied with this purchase

Good shaver. Specially designed for small faces or those with deep facial features (such as jawline, under the nose, etc.). Works well on fine hair. Very little skin irritation (if any), even immediately after shaving. Wet shaving is a huge plus. After a few tries (to see how your hair grows) with a good quality shaving cream, the results are almost indistinguishable from those achieved with a manual razor. Addendum: With a little experience, the use of shaving cream becomes superfluous, just…

The quality has gone down a lot in the last 1-2 years

I used to love brown. This is a first time electric shaver I have used and have been using for over 10 years but I am seriously considering switching to a new brand because of the foil heads. They used to last me the recommended 18 months before I had to change them. So the foil head of the new razor broke within 3 months. As with other reviews, the foil head started peeling off in one spot (it was sharp and scratched my face) before the blade started ripping off more parts of the head and…

Braun 3040S test report for men

I have used several different electric shavers from all well-known manufacturers in the past. I bought this razor on sale to replace a Norelco rotary razor that was no longer cutting as effectively. Before using various electric razors, I knew there would be an adjustment period before I could really tell how well they worked. As expected the first shave was fine but not very close with some missed areas. I continued to use it through the end of the week and by the end of the week I had a…

This review is a special warning to Series 3 shaver owners who need to replace their old one. If you don't already have a Series 3 cleaning and charging system, then you can ignore this review. But if you're replacing an old Series 3, learn from my mistake. I had an older Series 3 that came with a docking station that allowed it to be cleaned and charged at the same time. This turns out to be a very useful feature for busy people, which is why I relied on it, although small cartridges are…
