They work. They fit. Something else?

They work. Can be bent to stay in place using only the strength of the pins. Also, they're easy to solder, and the pins can be removed from their plastic sleeves if that's useful in any way.

Pros
  • GOLS Certificate
Cons
  • Style 90

this is a pack of 10 different 40 pin connectors

thought i would buy just one connector and i thought the price was a bit high but i got my trump cards so i just like anything cool Got stuff but when they came I saw this bag of THicC or headlines, right in that moment I knew I made the right decision.

Pros
  • understandable for the old ones too
Cons
  • there are new competitors

11mm and not easy to break off

Firstly if you need to connect them to a longer connection (like a Prusa 3D printer) they won't work as they are only 11mm, and for Prusa printers you need 20 mm. Second, they don't come off very easily. they broke only by my own hand strength. All subsequent hacking attempts from this point forward were in vain. I had to take scissors to break them. I ended up just pulling out the pins with pliers. Now I have 8 sets of these and nothing can be done with them.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time

Does what it says on the label

Mine came in a pack of 11 which was great. I used them to populate the GPIO pins on my Raspberry Pi Zero and it was easy (I have a beginner soldering kit and almost no soldering experience). Just do it slowly and be careful not to burn the board as you solder it.

Short circuit after soldering

The resistance between each contact is open. After soldering, some pins have high resistance between them. They are no longer open. The resistance is in the megohm range, which can be considered an open circuit, but if your circuit is sensitive to an intermediate resistance, you've hit the hose. I even tried skipping every other pin, but the short occurred on the diagonal pins as well. Not good at all.

  • Computers and Accessories
Cons
  • Quality
