This product is exactly what I was looking for in a bottle opener. Even the simplest task can be painful if, like me, you have weak hands or arthritis in your thumb. The opener serves its purpose.

It has no real lever and also no interference with the lid. If the two levers were longer they would work better but I can't recommend them now. It's also too expensive for a simple little piece of plastic injection molding. Ed B

I ordered this for my 70+ year old mum after she admitted to me that she no longer buys her favorite ginger ale because she just doesn't couldn't get the lid anymore. It arrived very quickly and she loved it. Now she can open many things easily, including her favorite ginger ale.

I wasn't sure if this would be a good idea but thought it might be worth a try. I had a very frustrating attempt to open a bottle of DrP and wasn't sure if it could hit the damn thing. But he managed to conquer the bottle. I'm so happy with it that I'm ordering another one just in case.

I'm going on a trip and I was looking for an assistant to remove caps from bottles of different sizes. Of course I wanted something compact and durable. At first glance I was hesitant when I came across the Brenium multifunction opener as I only use one hand. This is a great bottle opener. Easy to use and no effort required to break the top seal. I highly recommend this bottle opener.

I should have read more reviews. This is absolutely NOT meant to help if you have arthritis. This requires the use of the same fingers that prevent me from opening the lid easily. It doesn't fit well on a standard soft drink lid and keeps slipping off. If you manage to keep it in place, turning it will take a lot of effort. I finally took the cap off after a few tries, but now my palm is crushed by the hard plastic grip. I will definitely come again.

If you are weaker than average then maybe this can be effective for you. However, if you suffer from rheumatoid arthritis, this tool is useless. It doesn't add leverage enough to grab small caps and just slips. Find something with a longer handle length. UPDATED: I tried another product and it works great for my arthritis hands. This is a good tool for arthritis or other people who need help opening bottles etc. and definitely economical. I have arthritis in my hands and had surgery on my right index finger. The tool appears to be well made, although being plastic it feels flexible yet durable and will/should withstand many uses.
