Like most reviews I am disappointed. I think I now understand why most people burn their hands/fingers. When the mug thinks it's empty or filled with cold liquid, it ignites heat - so fast! There must be some kind of temperature sensor in there because whenever I pour some hot water in (from my kettle) and touch the bottom it seems to stay cold. But whenever the cup is empty, the bottom gets very hot. So my question is at what exact temperature does it burn if it contains liquid? I give two…

Horror! The idea is great, but this product is cheaply made and mostly junk! Stops working after a week of use. After troubleshooting I replaced the fuse in the plug which appears to have blown. Worked another 2 weeks and died again. Thinking maybe I just got a bad batch I was optimistic enough to buy another one, this time from Wayfair which was a bit cheaper, man what a big disappointment again! The same thing happened!
