Woke up from the coffee in the fridge. Was it stored in the fridge door or did the door close too quickly? I'm not sure, but a half-gallon glass bottle of liquid shouldn't break that easily.

I love this thing. The sieve is very beautiful and well made. Good thickness glass. Good quality seal. I like the design. I feared knocking over others. This pitcher is very stable. Very important.

It works exactly as it should. It brews coffee the cold way (and generally whatever you want, as long as it's not a fine powder). But the neck is very small. Hands are too small to get in and clean. You'll have to use the brush by the stick, and I'm not a big guy with clumsy hands either. But I admit it looks great.

The container looks cool but it could be more functional if only it was more oval so it could hold more liquid. When filling with coarse beans, the thing can easily overflow and fall apart, which is annoying. You need a brush to clean it, or you can slurp it over your shoulder like you're mixing tequila, but with soap. Overall okay, the rubber grommet is a little poopy but overall ok for the price.

Edit* Upgraded rating from 4 stars to 2 stars because exactly what I expected happened. With light use for 3 months (maybe 4 times?) and hand wash only, the inner rubber ring stopped closing. Too thin so the filter now pops out when I try to fill it and doesn't fit properly in the jug. I wish the internal pores of the filter were a little smaller and the overall size of the filter a little larger to hold more coffee grounds. because the pitcher is quite big.
