I was trying to find a film that looks like reed glass (glass with wide vertical ribs, reminiscent of glass from the 20's and 30's). Some photos and reviews gave me hope that this would be such a product. And that's assuming you have poor eyesight and it's dark. Since I haven't found any other alternative, I'll have to do this for now. It looks good at first glance, but still looks more like window film than frosted or patterned glass.
