Tried all available types of brick clips. This option WORKS

The design of the bottom of this brick clip makes it the ONLY style that works for me. Allows the clamp to sit completely flush with the face of the brick. Not the easiest thing to install: I had to bend the bottom wings down and out with pliers, then put some foam under the screwdriver to get the clips in place. But now you can hang anything on a brick wall.

Simply place the spring side against the bottom of the brick, lift slightly and press the hook handles against the top of the brick to lock the hooks. If you need to reposition, you can raise the bottom a little and remove the hooks at the top (pull away from the stone). You may need to adjust the spring a bit to add more spring. Very thin metal, it flexes with little pressure and doesn't hold securely.

I have purchased dozens of these brick hooks in the past and they have always been of high quality. This last batch is much more brittle, made of thinner metal, and bends too easily. This causes the clamp to barely hold the brick. I use it for Christmas decoration. I actually used clips to hold the jewelry in place. It only weighs a few grams but tends to catch the wind. I fastened them very tightly and found that even a light wind could snag the decoration and easily tear the staples from the…
