All five sensors were completely out of order.

Each individual probe showed a temperature of -27 degrees Celsius in a room with a temperature of 21 degrees. I spent hours re-checking my wiring and coding thinking something was wrong. I've tried all 5 and all have failed. Don't buy Arduino hardware from Revain - their quality isn't as reliable as that from Adafruit or other tech companies.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • alt

LM35 works well with Aduino Uno R3 platform.

LM35 connection same as TMP36; Just pay attention to the final calculation. (1) Connection: Place the LM35 on the breadboard with the letter side facing the Arduino board and the rounded side facing out. Connect the left pin to the letter side to 5 volts, the middle pin to the analog pin, and the right pin to GND. (Make sure there are no loose connections.) (2) Calculate the temperature using LM35: Sensor value multiplied by 5 divided by 1024 gives the results in volts. So everything togetherโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Expensive

All five sensors were completely out of order.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
