Perfect attachment for quick oil change system

Used in conjunction with Briggs & Stratton hose connector 796532 and oil filter adapter. brand new John Deere mowers and I was able to get a returned item for only $8.

Works great when used with Briggs & Stratton Hose Connector 796532

Works great. I used hose connector with a Briggs & Stratton 796532 to replace the drain plug. I now have an oil drain hose that allows me to drain water without spilling it all over the body of the mower. The hose was a bit too long for my 17.5hp engine and kinked when I pulled it up to the clamp on the hood. it had a good sweep radius.

Pros
  • Package Width: 4.0"
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

Stupid design - replacement parts

Really silly design including a plastic cap on the flexible hose that sticks out the side of the motor that gets a lot of use, especially for something you do maybe once a year (or less ) use frequently). Catch the dumb hose and the dumb cap just pops off pumping out all the engine oil. It's just stupid. However, the replacement part fits well and does the job as originally intended (a hose clamp or screw would also work). I tied a spare so it doesn't get caught on the brush as easily.

Pros
  • Made in USA
Cons
