Very useful and durable! Built to withstand heavy use, this shelf can hold a ton of stuff but also folds away when not in use. Nice that you no longer have to drip onto dry clothes in the bathroom. Just be patient that you are mounting with bolts or using the large metal wall anchors that come with the kit.

I ordered three of these for our laundry. At $50 each you don't get what you pay for. Of the three sets, two were bent. Although the box they were sent in was fine. The bottom crossbar, which sets the angle of the rack, didn't fit into any of the hooks. This was a problem with all three and it had to be pryed open with a pry bar to make the gap big enough for the bar to fit in. I expected $25-30 depending on the quality. I do not recommend this product.

Works as intended and looks solid enough. However, for the price and the materials used, I would expect it to come pre-assembled and with mounting hardware included. While not difficult to assemble, it is time consuming and the hardware should be included in the $0.10 cost. Your apology for too many wall types is pretty shallow. It is heavy and strong, but its strength depends on the quality of your installation. I'm very comfortable but agree with others that this product is difficult to install. It's a solid, heavy construction that's good for this purpose, but you have to assemble the entire rack before you can drill it to hang it, and it's really a two-person job figuring out where to drill need to while keeping it level. Had a few reservations getting it in the box but overall not too painful to assemble and hang. Felt a little flimsy on the bottom but now that it's on top I'm so glad I have it and it works great! My husband, who isn't very crafty but has made some semi-hard drills over the past few years, helped mount it to the wall with a bolt. Simple idea but flawed execution. I wish I had read all the reviews but this seemed like the only option in this design so I bought it anyway. It works, but there are design flaws. I tried to put the right side into the stud, but the metal was so warped that the top screw was in the stud, but the second was to the left of the stud, and the third was even further to the left. You can use clothespins (although not small ones - they should have a decent "hole" at the end of the needle), but we also just hang things over each crossbar. This wardrobe could have been great with a few tweaks. As intended and with lousy guidance, there are too many paths to dissatisfaction. The product must be designed to be screwed into studs. If the spacing between the mounting holes in the frame is 30 inches, one side or the other will need to be bolted to the wall with drywall anchors.
