Good product could be made better with more detailed instructions and design changes

This wardrobe could have been great with a few tweaks. As intended and with lousy guidance, there are too many paths to dissatisfaction. The product must be designed to be screwed into studs. If the spacing between the mounting holes in the frame is 30 inches, one side or the other will need to be bolted to the wall with drywall anchors. If you hang 60 pounds from the post, the anchor will pull with such force that I'm not sure it will hold. At a minimum, the instructions should include installation notes, including pictures of drywall anchors. I screwed one side to a bobby pin and used a butterfly picture hanger on the other side to be more conservative. I suspect the company doesn't include the 6 drywall screws and anchors because they don't work.2. I wrote a step-by-step guide to avoid the mistakes I made when hanging the rack. Completely assemble the stand as shown in this guide. Make sure all screws are tight. Place the extended stand (90 degree angle) on the wall. If possible, find a stud to screw at least one side of the post to the stud. Place the stand on the wall at the desired height. (You may hit your head if the height is wrong.) Adjust either higher or lower. Mark the position of just one hole on the wall with a pencil through the top hole of the side strap that will rest against the stand. Using a suitably sized drill bit, drill only one hole in the wall to accommodate the screw you purchased to attach the stand. Screw the stand loosely to the wall through this first hole. Rotate the stand and use a level to align the tops of the side straps. Mark the wall through the top hole of the other side rail and screw it down so the post hangs on the top two screws. Usually you just mark all the holes at once, making sure the top of the rack is level and both side rails are plumb. In this case you will fail as the rack supplied will not work if both side rails are plumb. The shorter tube is long enough so that the lower support does not snap. You should set up the shelf so that each side rail is slightly transparent and the distance between the side rails at the bottom is slightly smaller than at the top. First I marked everything, drilled holes, assembled the frame perfectly, and it didn't work. I made a temporary fix by pulling out a tube and sawing it off to make the tube about a millimeter longer than the tube that came with it. The company needs to deliver a frame with a shorter tube, one millimeter longer than it is now. Another suggestion is to round off the straps holding the tube at the corners where your head will rest if you adjust it to the "wrong" height.
