The kitchen helper you really need!

I'm proud to say I drink lattes every morning without leaving my house! I am so thrilled that I have an espresso machine and it fits perfectly on the counter. It runs a little noisy, but almost every espresso machine has noise/power. It's a bit confusing at first but every day I learn something different to improve my drink and it's fun! Not to mention I caught my husband sipping espresso so everyone wins!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Made a decent espresso, but for how long?

This machine is solid "OK". Made a decent espresso and frothed the soy milk very well (can't speak for regular milk). There were some really nice accessories too. However, the design of the machine itself left much to be desired. The metal portafilter and the "wooden" handle (it's painted plastic) are held together with a weak glue, and sometimes the two pieces come loose. The machine was also quite noisy, often sounding like it was struggling to force water through the system. I sent it back a

walk away from it

Complicated brewing and frothing system, neither of which work very well. Cheap plastic parts and a pressure gauge on the front, which is really just an ornament. I owed basic cheap espresso machines that cost $50-$75 and were of higher quality. So the lesson is: buy cheap and durable, or buy expensive and fancy. Don't buy $150-$175 espresso machines from foreign sweatshops down the street. They look high end (gauge decoration) but you don't get any value for the dollars spent. In fact, the…

no longer works after 8 months

So far so good. It makes me very frustrated to buy something I know very little about. I spent a lot of time reading reviews and watching videos before making this purchase. I feel like my research has paid off at the moment. In the photo, my first attempt at making a mocha latte and it turned out delicious. The right coffee grind is the first task, the second is the right pressure on the coffee. I've made at least 50 servings since I received the machine last week. For some reason I had a…

Solid regular product

For a beginner home barista this machine will do. Other reviews say the face meter is either inaccurate or non-functional, which I think is correct. When frothing milk, there is (as far as I know) no function to clean the tube before and/or after use. After about three months of use, the port filter has completely detached from the handle as shown in the picture. But I fixed it with JB Weld quick setting epoxy. I believe the heat from the machine just softens the glue the manufacturer uses and…

This car sucks!

I bought this espresso machine in November 2020 and returned it in January 2021, let me tell you why. It sucks at first, I was very happy with the purchase and I make fresh milk with every cup of regular coffee I'm addicted to. Then I went and bought pounds of espresso beans thinking it would be great to have in the afternoon or when I just needed to pick up. It was great to make espresso, it's not a problem. The problem with the pressure gauge, it never worked when I opened a new box, wait it…
