Worth the cost. for fish and aquatic animals

Comfort is worth it. I've seen people complain that it's just cardboard. It fits perfectly and I don't have to cut the cardboard. I will buy more.

    • New competitors

There are only 5 in the package not 6.

Package says 6 cardboard discs but in reality you only get 5. I won't be buying more, I'll just own mine now. I need so I don't want to return but I don't see a way to contact the seller for this item.

    Pros
    • Easy to read control panel
    Cons
    • Some cons

Overpriced! Save your money and make your own.

It is too expensive for a box. I only bought this to have a template to cut my own out of the boxes. I highly recommend measuring and cutting yourself. You must replace them after each extraction.

    Perfect replacement for cardboard circles

This pack of six cardboard circles was just what we needed for our incubator. Only one circle came with the new incubator, and I didn't feel like cutting out my circles. For what it is (6 thin pieces of cardboard) it seems like poor value but as the incubator belongs to my elderly grandfather I'm glad he doesn't have to cut circles for each new batch of chickens.

    Pros
    • Hands free operation
    Cons
    • Very expensive

    There are pros and cons

The disc has its pros and cons. It is pre-cut for Brinsea incubators so it fits perfectly and is very easy to swap out on day 18 when the eggs no longer need to be rolled. You can make changes in no time and the incubator will recover fairly quickly. On the other hand, during the hatching process, the mats get wet and the chicks can slip and slide in the grooves as they are quite deep. The incubator is small, once a few eggs hatch, it's also full. Others recommend using a rubberized shelf liner

    Pros
    • handy thing
    Cons
    • so far so good
