Efficient Broan 834 Filter for Enhanced Performance of 8-Inch Exhaust Fans Review

Not bad, but the driver couldn't put such a rock on the bag (which is provided for that) as the strong wind almost blew it away. Found it on the opposite side of the yard.

You'll never know how much dirt one of these fans will suck out of your house until you put one of these filters back in. 2 weeks and it needs cleaning. ignore my sarcastic title. This does the job perfectly, only now I can't ignore the dirt the fan picks up. giggle

My house is older (1955) and has an exhaust fan out through the kitchen wall. There was no filter so I decided to add that to keep the fan clean and working well. This is the correct diameter, but my fan has a pull chain and I couldn't find a notched filter for it. So I just cut a small hole in the filter for the chain and everything works fine.

This item serves its purpose as it makes a great screen for our kitchen exhaust fan that extends outside of our home. It's not that easy to clean as it accumulates a lot of grease, but it's cheap enough to buy another one instead of cleaning it. The only problem is that it doesn't have a slot for the cable that opens/closes the exhaust fan, so we have to cut it all the way through every time we get a new one.

My wife and I had just bought a mid 50's modern home and needed a cover for our Mercury Nu-Tone bathroom exhaust fan. It worked perfectly. This is a normal filter; and that's a good value. But I also bought a Broan-NuTone 8210 8 vertical blow ceiling fan and a 7 inch round duct 210cc ceiling fan. feet per minute. This filter does not match the fan! The outer diameter of the filter is ok; The problem is the center hole: the 8210 fan has a slightly larger center post than the filter hole. shouldn't be necessary.
