Great filter to extend the functionality of the bidet!

I bought this filter with a Brondell S1000 bidet. I attached it directly to the T-valve and then connected the water inlet hose going to the bidet. I recommend before running a bidet with a filter attached, flush the filter down the toilet to remove the initial carbon, just like any other water filter, to keep "black dust" out of your bidet and on your butt :)

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Seems to work - flush first!

When used with a brondell bidet there is a chance that carbon particles in the new filter will clog the water outlets in the toilet seat on first use. So I suggest that you first connect the brondel hose (supplied with the toilet seat) to the filter, turn on the water and have a bucket handy to catch the water and bits of coal that come out first. You can then connect everything normally.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

You may find a better manufacturer

I received this product direct from Revain. This manufacturer has no real quality control, at least the packaging. The product came with an open, torn outer packaging, paper box. The primary filer case is much worse. It cannot be installed perfectly. The inlet was not manufactured properly so the filter does not fit my valve perfectly. I give 2 stars because after unscrewing the filter it is very difficult, at least it does not leak.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Poor instructions

A clever preventive measure.

I don't have a brondell but it works great with a USPA sink. It's easy to install a filter between the inlet and the bidet unit - supposedly this will solve hard water problems and in my case having a chlorinated dropper tablet in the storage tank helps keep the water flowing. from any cross-contamination. As to how well this filter does its job I can't tell too much empirical evidence, although I don't have the same issues as I did with my last (filterless) bidet and it goes without sayingโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Empty
