The filter seat that connects to the shower head is too long making it impossible to make a seal whether you use tape or not so water leaks all over the place. Too bad because this filter would be perfect and I would not have to send it back.

I LOVE this product. I bought a lavender scent and although the smell is not very strong, my husband and I both love it. We use 1/3 the amount of shampoo and conditioner. It makes my hair very soft and very easy to style. I dyed blonde hair and I find it makes my hair shinier. This is the winner!

The knot leaks like other reviews but I was lucky enough to fix mine by putting another rubber gasket on the smaller end. So I put two ring coffins in there to stop the leaks. Plumtree will not work. The smaller end is slightly shorter, allowing water to leak out. I don't feel any difference in filter and smell. Will return.

Wonderful scent! I can also tell the difference in the water. It"feels" softer. The only thing I don't like is the length: if you have a lower shower head, it will be even lower. I've been using it for about a month, the smell is as strong as the first day. I don't know why acacia is more expensive than others like lavender.

So far I've really liked this product. After reading other reports of leaks I used PTFE tape when installing it just in case. I had no water pressure losses. The water is softer and I have less hard water in my shower. The only downside so far is that it's completely odorless. Next time I buy one I'll probably buy a different flavor and see if it's stronger.

This is such a welcome addition to my shower routine. I like the scent very much. It's not overwhelming. I bought cherry and it has a subtle, sweet flavor. When I open the bathroom door after showering, the whole room smells nice. I haven't had any real issues with my water quality so I can't comment on its effectiveness in fighting hard water, but I will say it lowered my water pressure quite a bit. But with this nice aromatic compromise I can handle it.

After about 2 weeks of use I can tell you that the smell of lavender is amazing. It's a lovely sweet lavender, not overpowering. A good help to relax after a long day. I cannot attest to the health benefits unless I have noticed dramatic changes in my skin and hair. However, I'll definitely be a regular customer when the smell stops. I had to add a second washer to the hand held shower hose where the bottom of the filter enters. Before that he had a lot of leaks. The top of the filter didn't leak, but neither did it screw down to be flush with the base of my handheld showerhead.
