They are more attractive in real life, maybe a little more subdued. That's a plus for my husband. This is his second pair of Brooks and we are happy with this brand. He ran 4 miles this morning and came home with happy feet which is great for a first outing in new shoes. The rounded toe is much more comfortable as the toes have room to move. This is my third pair of Brooks mens, first because they were the only brand I could find in a narrow width and now simply because there is no other shoe more comfortable, right out of the box the box . I'm a walker not a runner but they fit me really well. One caveat though: like me, you may need to order half a size up from your usual size as Brooks shoes are always too small for me. You can ignore the warning "If it fits true to size, order a normal size".

The side material has detached from the sole of the shoe after only 4 months of use. The soles are still in very good condition, indicating that they are easy to use.
