Terrible update for a great shoe

They changed her so much. Fits awfully. The tongue of the boot is sewn into the boot to prevent the wearer from opening the boot. I don't even know why they have laces. It's awful and I've been a fan of Brooks Levitation for years. No longer.

Suitable for men

I wear a 10.5 and my Levitate 2 10.5 fits well. These definitely run small. The problem is that the tongue is built into the shoe so the laces do nothing about halfway. The tongue is literally molded from the material of the shoe. No debuff. Fits very tight. I held them hoping they would break through and loosen up a bit. Didn't actually happen. Good shoes and light. Order one size larger.

  • Absolutely amazing!

famous slippers that cannot be opened

I love Brooks Levitate 2 and decided to "upgrade" to Levitate 4; For some reason, however, Brooks chose to permanently attach the Levitate 4's tongue to the sides, making it impossible to unbutton the shoe. The laces are utterly useless now, and the shoes are basically glorified slippers, too tight for my feet. I have no idea why Brooks did this but the shoes are a complete waste to me.

A bit narrow, but great shoes

I run 6 miles a week but use Brooks Ghost because I need maximum cushioning. The Levitate is a more durable outsole that Brooks claims puts more energy back into your stride and I can feel the difference in the way I ride the Ghost. I use the Levitation as my everyday shoe and have no problem walking long distances in it. I personally wouldn't run them because of the stiffer sole. I love the levitation look and the sock like upper. They look very nice, if a little tight. I would even suggest…

Blow! on Athletic

I have worn Asics for many years and decided to try these Brooks. I regretted it after the first 100 meters. I've tried rebuilding them over and over again to fix the slippage that was occurring. I had no luck. At mile 2 I felt a bubble form. After 6 miles I wasn't happy with the shoes. A few days later I gave them another try to fix the problem by adjusting the laces. No luck the second time either. If you like blisters on your heels, this shoe is for you. I've only heard good things about…

Suitable for small, inexpensive models

I have been using Brooks shoes for many years and am very happy with them. I read the great reviews on the Levitate 4 and thought they were perfect for me. I was very disappointed. Shoes run much smaller than advertised size due to sock-like design. Everything is very tight. The toe box is narrower than any other Brooks shoe I've worn. The material looks cheap. They are fully perforated so your feet will freeze if you use them in colder climates. I walked a few blocks and realized I made a…

First Levite; definitely not my last

read many reviews before buying. I attack the forefoot and have had multiple problems with my feet since I was 40. The Brooks Ghost was my last pair of running shoes and they are more neutral in terms of impact and cushioning so toe pain hasn't improved much. Fit and feel upon receipt. The language is stupid. It's not a full tongue, it's sewn in at the very top, leaving little room to tuck your foot in. I have narrow feet with a high arch so it wasn't a problem. je. until now. Once you put your
