2020 is not a reliable shoe

My son liked the Brooks shoes but this year's model didn't work for him. The first pair was bought on June 21st. The July 15 wear was so shocking that I just realized it was a defective shoe. Bought two more and after 4 weeks both pairs are worn out. Last year the shoe averaged 300 miles, this year it's less than 200. He used alternating pairs and ran the same sections as last year. Will not buy these shoes again.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Connection of materials, manufacturing.

We wore Brooks for a few years, we had a Ravenna 10 which we are happy with, lasted just over a year. Even then I had to glue down the sole that rises above the toe. And the soles themselves wore out in just over a year. I've had a pair of Adrenaline GTS15's for a couple of years. Now I have Ravenna 11 since September 26, 2020, it has been less than 3 months and there is no left heel. Seems to be a recurring problem. What about streams? Very disappointed.

Lightweight and fits perfectly.

I used to buy this brand because they were only offered by sellers who came to work and were a bit skeptical because of the price and I don't know the brand. I have foot problems, burning, I need to adjust my size to a wide size and very few stores offer 8W so I have trouble finding it. My foot problem hasn't gone away, but at least it has reduced the burning pain I'm feeling. . Anything I can get to relieve this pain in my legs I will happily accept.

Pros
  • Ease of use
Cons
  • Safety

Weaker materials at Athletic

I'm disappointed. I run Ravenna 9 and 10. I've only been in my Ravenna 11 for a month or two and 2 pairs of shoes have cracked heels. I think the heel material is weaker and thinner than previous versions of this shoe. I was thrilled when I first got these shoes because they were more stylish than in the past and had better heel hold than the Ravenna 10. This ability to better heel grip could be part of the problem with the 11s. I recommend saving your money and not buying Ravenna 11s.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Update available

My new favorite running shoes

Switching from Adrenaline, another supportive running shoe from Brooks. Ravennas are much better if you don't need a lot of support. They are comfortable and lightweight, not too stretchy and tight. The arch support is just right for my low arch. My running time has already improved as they are so light compared to the Adrenaline. Fits just like my Adrenaline. We do not recommend buying online unless you know your Brooks shoe size. It is better to buy in store first and then re-order online for

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Boring packaging
