I have worn other models from Brooks, Saucony and various Asics running and hiking shoes. This pair - Brooks Addiction - is by far the most comfortable. It hugs my narrow heel but has a toe box wide enough to give me enough room. I wear medium width. The shoe has more cushioning than any other pair of hiking shoes I've bought. These hiking shoes are heavenly.

What the heck did you do with such a great shoe for flat feet. I have used Brooks Addiction from the 7-12 series with great results. Now that I can't find the 12 I bought the 14 series and my back and knees are killing me. I had to buy half a size bigger.
