These Brookes are a disappointment.

I'm a big Brooks shoe lover! However, these shoes were a disappointment. The toe box is TOO hard making my toes sore after runs and plyos.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Great product for women

Great product. I was wearing a Cascadia 13 and needed new shoes so I went for the Cascadia 15 and they are even better than the previous model. So comfortable. Excellent grip on concrete floors. They fit well, I have a wide foot. Will definitely continue to buy Brooks!

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • So so

Not enough cushioning when trail running

I like Brooks Ghost shoes so thought I'd like them. They don't have that much cushioning even when I add my favorite outsole. They stick well to different surfaces. I'm disappointed in the comfort but I have to leave them as I've worn them on the trails.

Pros
  • Good product for the price

Ready to run in these shoes

I'm a huge Cascadia fan and I immediately liked these shoes and did well on moderate trails. My only criticism is the very short laces which need to be replaced to make them last. Not overly supportive and not to mention a rock slab - just grips the trail and makes for a great run. Check it!

Had to return as they sent me a size too small. But I don't know how to re-register because something in the system is changing from 8.5 to 7.5. In some places the size is displayed correctly, in others incorrectly. Unfortunately I will probably not be able to order the right size as this will happen again.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Easy maintainability

I took a six week vacation, drove to a glacier and Hawaii, carried her over mountains and lava, hiked through creeks and was caught by a random wave while walking along the shore and can only report, that she withstood another there were no shoes. If you like the Brooks fit, I think you'll love these shoes too. I can only report how they handled six weeks of heavy use (excellent!).

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Quality

Wish it was tighter

I got my trail runners and went on a 12 mile run in the Marin Headlands. It's probably a good shoe for casual runners, but seems like they wear out pretty quickly for those who train ultras. Pros: Lightweight, ideal for narrow feet. Cons: Definitely not as strong as my Hoka One runners, there is a black one. /coral cloud, and they are not gray at the bottom of the shoes like in the pictures: they are white - why make them white?! now they are brown after my first run and will never be white…

Cascadia 15 GTX "Summer " version

I really liked my Cascadia 15 GTX and bought them for snow/rain in cold to cool weather but they were too hot for summer. Fit me just like the GTX versions. My orthopedic insoles fit perfectly. I overpronate with foot bursitis and am very happy. My only complaint is that despite having a small foot, I have to tie the smallest bow in the history of the world to properly utilize all the lace holes. Why so stingy with shoelaces, brother? I still love them and they are my absolute favorite…

Pros
  • Several competitors
