Setting up amazing color printing is easy.

My HP All-in-One worked fine until it was out of warranty, then the problems started. Another problem was that the ink kept drying out. I have a Brother black laser printer, no problem. I wanted a Brother all-in-one color laser printer and bought it. I downloaded the latest drivers and set them up to print from multiple devices with no problem, amazing! The printer is fast and the colors are great. I've been looking at this type of all-in-one for the last few years and caught this one on sale…

No toner resume mode

Bought in another store. This printer is quite fast and quiet. There is no toner resume mode, so cartridges cannot be refilled. Brother is known for signaling a low toner level when it's present or not, but this is the first printer that doesn't have overrides, allowing it to continue printing until print quality degrades. If Brother says it's not there, whether it's there or not, it's missing and the printer shuts down. I just spent half the cost of the printer on non-genuine cartridges…

  • A lot of positive emotions

You CAN reset the toner on this model

I love this printer and now that I've figured out how to reset the toner so it doesn't tell me it's empty when it's not, even more. I was able to reset my toner cartridges for this model using the process I found by googling "The best way to reset Brother toner cartridges". In summary, open the inner cover where the toner cartridges are located. Then press the Back and X keys at the same time. Then press the back button again. This should bring up the toner reset menu. I had to try several…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Doubt

I've had a problem with this printer since day one. It leaves gray ridges on the side and along the entire length of the side. They become darker and unacceptable! I knocked down the seller and his phone number and called. They took pity on me and gave me the number of a person who would help with these questions. I have called this number several times and it always goes to 'unconfigured' voicemail. I have a broken printer and I can't get an answer for this issue. I want to return this for a…

Excellent quality, easy to install and use

We're not heavy printer users, but it's time for a laser printer! The old inkjet printer just became a headache, the quality was never good (no matter how many times it was cleaned) and something always ran out. I did a little research on lasers best suited for home use and settled on the Brother MFC-L3770CDW. Of course it costs more than a good inkjet printer, but there is nothing better yet! While it was significantly larger than the old inkjet printer (make room!), it was easy to set up and…

  • good item

A firmware update has disabled the toner reset feature

I've had this printer for a few months now. Prints well but slowly. He quickly thinks that the color toner is empty, even though I print almost everything in black and white. The number of pages is used, not the actual toner level. I once managed to reset the toner levels using the "Kindle Reader" instructions in another review below. After the printer automatically downloads a firmware update, I can't reset the toner levels and the printer won't print until I add new toner even though there…

So easy that a child can do it.

I was fed up with my Brother MFC-J6930DW and wanted to switch to a laser. Thus began my exploration of what was on the market today. I looked at everything from Xerox to Lexmark and finally returned to Brother. Setup and installation is too easy. Just unpack the printer. Remove the entire tape. Remove the toner covers, load paper and turn it on. Then press the wireless network icon on the screen and in less than a minute you will be connected to the network. Then either insert the disc or go to

  • Best in its niche

Brand new printer failed immediately, support fixed it!

I've unpacked and installed quite a few printers in my life and I've never had a problem like this. This printer contains four "drums" and each drum contains a separate toner cartridge. Inside the drum unit is a single, very thin and very fragile wire known as the "corona wire" that is exposed to the outside. Message "DRUMS!". Following the on-screen instructions, I had to remove each photoconductor and wiggle the green tab back and forth a few times to "clean" the photoconductors, which you…

Great all in one for the home office

I bought this printer from a local store so I can easily return it if I don't like it. I tried both the HP 281 and Canon 733 and returned both and finally found this Brother MFC-L3770cdw. All three printers print great in black and white and color on the regular 24 gauge paper that I use. While none of these are designed for stunning photo quality on photo paper, I easily solved this problem with the $100 Epson XP-7100 Photo Printer. I think you can print on laser photo paper (which requires…
