My Brother printer is almost 75% black ink, but I still cannot print text documents without color cartridges. This product is useless alone and needs to be bundled with paint. No matter what setting I choose, I can't print a simple form until I now buy more yellow ink to print in black. The low rating is due to the fact that this is the first black ink cartridge I've seen that I can't print anything black with. Apparently, according to Brat himself, he lacks the "quality" to print.

I give 5 stars because although I can buy locally maybe $2 cheaper because I have a car and can drive when I don't need gas and can drive 6 miles then I go to a store where I have more money for other things I can spend that I don't need and then go back home and let the drivers regret for the other things I got It lasts like any other and the color yeah black. OMG it is actually as described in the description. So buy it, save money on gas and other stuff you don't need.

I just printed a few pages for my elementary school student's homework. The color ran out after a few days. It doesn't seem right. Update: I ordered a new cartridge this morning, looked at the cartridge on arrival. All my others look like they have ink in them when they arrive, this one looks half empty when I turn it over, it has ink in it, but this one shows no ink at all. I'm very disappointed but I don't have time to send it back because I have to print schoolwork for my kid.
