There's nothing like factory ink for your printer. Although they cost significantly more, you don't experience the heartache of traditional cartridges. I have found that some generic drugs come with a dry cartridge or leak. For this printer, I just went with the factory.

My printer acted like it was out of ink even though I told the printer that I had installed new ink cartridges. They didn't come with the piece of plastic they were used to. I am not sure if this means they are refurbished, counterfeit or a manufacturing difference

The yellow cartridge in this set ran out quickly. I actually printed more pages with the regular capacity yellow cartridge. I bought the Ultra High Yield Yellow Cartridge a few months before buying this set and this cartridge ran out quickly as well. I thought maybe I had a bad cartridge so I bought this set of 3 Brother extra long yield cartridges. I use my Brother printer for all color and ledger print jobs and my laser for all black and white letter size print jobs. I have to say this ink lasted a while and even if the printer sits and needs cleaning it doesn't make a huge difference in capacity. Much cheaper than stationery stores and the XXL size is just what you need.
