Older Ptouch devices DO NOT support TZe tapes

NEW Ptouch Printer Ribbon When ordering cartridges, Ptouch devices will NOT accept TZ ribbons. There is no information in the Revain or Ptouch literature that contains this information. TZe cartridges have different spindles that hold the ribbon. Question to AMAZON - how many TZe tapes were returned for TZ tapes? The difference between TZ and TZe ribbon cartridge is NOT compatible.

Worked great! for label makers

Fellow craftsman. The next day the price went up so I waited for it to go down again. It didn't go back to $30. So far I haven't found that particular post that is fixed. I took a chance because I found it in the price range I liked. This is theft! I am glad that the device works well and looks like new. I didn't really bother with the power supply as I sometimes use my old label printer. I'm very glad I bought it when it came up on my recommendations.

Good labeler and good price

The only thing I'm missing is an automatic cutter. I have an old printer with an automatic cutter that I am missing on this model. But the old machine had trouble printing on the narrow ribbon, so I needed a replacement. I was able to emulate an automatic printer function that spits out a small section of ribbon (the curled part), cuts the ribbon, and then prints a label that fills the entire area of the ribbon (no leader or trailer).
