Saves my hands from thorns and thorns. Not waterproof, but protects you from light rain for a short time. I love the deep front pockets. There are also 2 chest pockets that close with a zip and appear to be waterproof. Great place for my driver's license or my phone. A deep game bag that can accommodate many birds. In December there is enough space underneath to put on a sweatshirt. My only regret is that there is no water bottle holder for my dog.

If you look at the Browning size chart, you will see that their clothing is half a size smaller than traditional sizes. If you want a loose coat, you should choose a larger size. I usually wear XXL and this coat is fine unless I need a heavy base layer. This item may not need additional layers as it will warm up on its own. The quality of the garment is excellent and it should stand up to brushing and weeding very well. This coat will serve me for several years.

Beautiful jacket! Plenty of pockets, cup holders, front loading pocket and comfort. Bought 2x so I can layer and I'm a tall guy (6ft #260) but it was too big. Sent back and received XL and fits just right. I can wear a thick hoodie underneath. Now all I have to do is fill it with cotton ponytails!
