Stable and Versatile Tripod for Electronics

This tripod worked great with my camera but what really impressed me was how versatile it was for other electronics too... I could easily use it with my telescope or binoculars as well. It's also surprisingly sturdy and stable for being non-magnetic. However, THE weight could be a bit heavy for some users. Overall, a great investment for anyone needing a reliable tripod for their electronics..

Pros
  • Durable and stable construction for reliable use in outdoor environments
Cons
  • Not suitable for use with magnetic instruments

Essential but poor quality

This compass is so sensitive that I have to remove my belt buckle, pocket knife and sidearm and place them 10 feet apart to get accurate readings. Therefore, a non-magnetic tripod is required. But its quality is pretty bad, it seems they bought a tripod for $25 and then replaced some steel mounts with brass mounts and resold it for a $100 markup. It's a shame because I love the compass but every time I use it the tripod leaves a bad taste in my mouth as I feel robbed. That makes me feel bad…

Pros
  • Use with ball mount
Cons
  • Reliability
