Very dubious best-in-cycling GPS module

This sensor came in a generic brown box inside a small plastic bag. There were no instructions, labels, Brighton packaging. Seems to work fine but the way it was packaged makes me wonder if it was new!?!?

Pros
  • Non-magnetic bike speed sensor with dual ANT+/BLE technology.
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Precise and strong connection to Ryder 10

No complaints here. Speed seems accurate compared to others with Wahoo, Garmin, Cateye or Strava. I have never lost the signal while driving.

Pros
  • Easy to install and move between bikes. Developed for maximum compatibility with all wheel sizes.
Cons
  • Long delivery

Suitable for indoor training

Accuracy seems to be uneven at times. If you hit a bump in the road, your speed will increase by leaps and bounds. Sometimes it also loses connection to the bike computer. Better for indoor riding. Works great when I'm on the treadmill.

Pros
  • Compatible with most GPS cycling/training apps on mobile phones and tablets (ANT+/BLE dual band support)
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Great sensor! good for cycling GPS Modules

This is the second sensor I bought for my bike computer. I use it on my recumbent bike. My husband installed it for me and then searched online to find out how to sync it to a computer and a smaller front wheel.

Pros
  • Designed to help you monitor your cycling skills, perform self-calibration and wireless speed measurement while riding. Pair it with the Bryton Smart Cadence Sensor and improve your personal best or see where you compare to the pros.
Cons
  • Doubtful

There was a problem with my original Bryton speed sensor.

There was a problem with my original Bryton speed sensor that I ordered. It semi works with my ANT sensor for Zwift but randomly loses connection. It doesn't work at all with the Bryton computer I ordered. Tried a new battery, no success. Tried to ask Brighton for help but no response. Thinking I was just unlucky, I ordered a second speed sensor. SAME PROBLEM. If you want a hassle-free experience, don't buy.

Pros
  • Replacement CR2032 button battery
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Suitable for indoor exercises

The accuracy sometimes seems unpredictable. If you hit a bump in the road, your speed will increase by leaps and bounds. Sometimes it also loses connection to the bike computer. Better for indoor riding. Works great when I'm on the treadmill.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
