Works fantastic, love it!

Works great when my old bose dock has been useless for years, now finally able to connect it to my bluetooth projector, sounds much better than built in speaker. No noise, I was lucky as I had an old Series 1 Bose dock serial number 3xxx.

Works great!

So glad we found this bluetooth adapter for our Bose SoundDock. It works very well. It connects easily and quickly to our iPhones and iPads. The volume can easily be controlled via the connected device or via the SoundDock itself. He has upgraded this speaker that we love so much. I highly recommend this item! We never had any problems with the connection.

Introducing my Bose Sounddock 10 1st Gen into the Bluetooth era

When I first bought the Bose Sounddock 10 1st Gen a few years ago, Bluetooth wasn't as popular and expected of audio devices as it is today. The LAYEN BS-1 Bose Bluetooth Receiver Adapter with 30-pin connector made it easy to convert that old device into a Bluetooth-enabled sound system. I never thought this type of adapter would be available, so easy to install and work so seamlessly with my iPhone to play music on a Bose device. I'm very grateful.

The "outdated " Bose SoundDock (Gen. 1)

After several phone upgrades and the death of my old iPod, I was dying to find a way to save my old Bose SoundDock V. 1. Remember how Apple (greedy assholes) changed the power connector so people would buy all new adapters? I hate that! And that's why I hate Apple. My Samsung Galaxy S4 *and* my friends iPhone 5s can now use my original Bose SoundDock. It was pricey at almost $50, but it saved a speaker that was originally bought for around $300 or more and should make it useful indefinitely…

Sound Dock Gen 1 users can participate in 2014!

My Bose Sound Dock is working again! This little device has kept my Gen 1 Sound Dock as relevant and fun as it was over a decade ago. The BS-1 is a simple Bluetooth receiver that connects to any Bluetooth enabled device and easily streams music/audio to your Bose device. I think this is the ONLY company that makes a device for the original Gen 1 Sounddock that uses a different pin configuration for older Apple iPods. We can now use our current iPhones or iPads to play music through Bose, making
