Very good for a very cheap price, the range button is missing.

I like the simplicity of the range selection, but it lacks the single "Range" button found on other auto DMMs). Otherwise this seems like a good responsive DVM for the money. Cosmetically, it's let down by a cheap silver label over the LCD. You need a screwdriver to install the battery and no battery was supplied. The continuity of the reaction is good.

The Hz function is useless.

The main reason I bought this model over others is that it has a frequency measurement function in Hz. I tried using this to test the frequency stability of my oscillator and got a reading of minus 2.51-2.58kHz. When I measured a standard outlet, I got the same numbers. Of course, the number I was expecting was 60 Hz. If the meter has a Hz measurement capability, it must be able to read at least the US standard voltage frequency of 60 Hz. All other features, which are admittedly much more…

Well I expected it to at least work.

I bought this gauge knowing it wasn't going to be the best. I have it to take sea calls while working on boats and PWC. I wanted a cheap counter after throwing a $200 counter in the lake. However, this gauge was not even remotely accurate. I had it wired in ohms which should be "OL" instead it gets it's own mind and gives me a reading. When the wires touch, it shows "1.1 ohms" what? The DC voltage of the battery was about 3 volts. I knew I was getting something cheap and inexpensive, but what I
