Description of BTECH MPR-AF1 AM FM Personal Radio: Enhanced Reception, Long Battery Life, and Dual Stereo Headphones in Vibrant Orange

The MPR-AF1 is a pocket portable radio with headphones. It includes a long-life rechargeable battery, that does not require you to inconveniently replace batteries while out on the go. The MPR-AF1 is your personal radio it is a great for receiving your local sports radio, NPR, and your favorite music. The MPR-AF1 has an internal ferrite bar antenna that in-itself has extreme sensitivity, but our engineers went a step beyond the internal ferrite antenna, intelligently designing the headphone jack to also act as an external antenna jack as well. This allows your headphones to be used as a long external antenna (while still providing crisp stereo audio). A true feat of engineering. More than just a mini am fm radio walkman, the MPR-AF1 includes a built-in clock, and includes features such as storing your favorite channel presets or allowing you to lock the keypad (to ensure your channel is locked in, while you are out moving on the go). The MPR-AF1 includes two different styles of headphones, allowing you to pick the most comfortable way to use your pocket radio. The convenient LCD display shows the exact am or fm stereo station that you are listening to. This allows you to easily see and tune to your favorite radio station. BTECH is proud to be in the USA, which allows you to have the best available local support for any issue that may arise. We only engineer and develop radio products. This is a great little radio

It has great reception and very useful features. The battery lasts 3 days, which is very good. It is a good companion for me and my partner.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Infinitely Sluggish

Surprised that thing works great.

Pretty good radio. It would be nice if it had bass and treble controls. The reception is good too. I am connecting a speaker system to an additional amplifier on a motorcycle. A belt clip would be nice.

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • So far so good

SIZE AND CHARGING CAPACITY

When I was working out at the gym, I wished the headphone radio was small. That's all I was looking for, even including the time. I will definitely use it for hiking as well, once the weather is good.

Pros
  • Hands-free
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Mini radio with good features, good sound and baseball!

Although it took me a while to become familiar with the power on lock and method of presetting channels, I've made friends with this little radio and its easy mini USB charging. As an alternative to a reliable little battery operated Sangean radio of about the same size, this is a great companion, especially if you have a choice of stations in an urban area. The sound is good (antenna in wired headphones) although I feel that even with strong reception it doesn't always carry enough stereo FM…

I love this little radio

I've been using it for about 2 weeks. The reception is excellent. Picks up stations I couldn't pick up on my old Sony Walkman radio. Durable metal body. The sound quality is excellent. Learning all functions takes about 15-20 minutes. The power button is sensitive. A short press puts it into sleep mode after 90 minutes. You have to long press to turn it on. The battery life is not as good as a radio that runs on normal batteries, after about 6-8 hours it will be empty, but it can be charged…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • No work

So so. Good sound and light weight

Let me share the positive points first. The rest of my thoughts are on that little radio. I really wanted to love him enough to get a second one and one for a family member. was new according to the purchase information. I'm sure. It was half loaded. Little did I know when I picked it up that it was an internal battery that charges via USB like so many modern devices do. It was a disappointment. It doesn't load enough or fast IMHO. Then there should be a favorite setting. My husband could tune…

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Available in white only
