Great heat gun! in heat guns

I wasn't expecting much because it's so small and light. Thing gets hot and fast. It goes great with the epoxy I use for my mugs. Good product. Definitely recommend.

Excellent product for welding and soldering

I bought this product to use on my projects. It's easy to use, lightweight and does exactly what I bought it for removing air bubbles from resin on glasses. Perfect.

  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • So far so good

Works but does NOT leave plugged in

Works as expected, however the switch only controls airflow. The device remains at operating temperature as long as it is connected to the mains. So make sure it is turned off when not in use.

Doesn't seem to get very hot

Works but doesn't get as hot as I need it to. Like a hair dryer basically no wind. This was my first time making a toggle switch, but I'm pretty sure it didn't heat up and rotate like it should because it couldn't get hot enough. Unfortunately I will order another one

Not very reliable with heat guns

Bought in March. It's August. I rarely use it, but when I do I have to keep my hand on the button for it to work. It has an on/off switch that wobbles for lack of better words. This only works occasionally. Today he died doing a small painting project and using it to dry a small 4x4 square of chalk paint (dries quickly). Don't waste money

Not for blisters soldering and soldering accessories

I should have listened to the feedback. Getting bubbles out of the resin doesn't work. It blows forcefully and blows the resin out of the mold. You have to hold it up to prevent this, but actually blowing bubbles isn't enough at this point. This works for moving resin across a canvas or whatever. So if that's what you need, this will probably work. But again, not for blisters.

Pros
  • soldering and soldering accessories
Cons
  • boring packaging

Simple good design but cheap quality

Once burned blue plastic now warped. I've used it on large canvases (11 x 24) and it didn't feel very strong. It gives off a fair amount of heat, but I have a butane torch for that. More air had to be blown for a large screen, so adjusting the air force would have been desirable. If you have basic needs it might be ok to check but yes melting plastic was

Pops bubbles and heats resin

This is a great tool for popping bubbles and more importantly heating resin to make it more viscous (runny), making it easier to pour and bubbles may rise to the surface. I set it on my workbench a few inches from the mixing cup and let it heat the resin while I stir. When I'm done mixing, the resin will be nice and warm and runny. Also great for getting your resin moving when trying to mix paints, but be careful with small molds, it's powerful enough to blow the resin right through the…
