Don't buy tool bags

Third job I took these when packing, the zipper broke when closing. I didn't force anything or anything like that. I just zipped it up and the zipper came loose. I think that's what you get when you buy cheap quality products. You need to save money and buy a more expensive brand. Although I really like the concept of this tool bag. I contacted the bucket boss and they said to contact Amazon for a refund and there is no return or exchange option for this so I'll just buy hopefully for the best.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Love this tool box

This tool box organizes a huge amount of tools much better than in a bag. The bag I used was a black tool hole that I had to empty the entire bag to find what I needed, although I kept the tools separately in plastic bags. When you unfold this thing all your tools are in their own pouches and when you open the pouches it's easy to figure out what's inside because they're small (3 x 3 x 13) and you can see everything. I found this toolbox while researching the Atlas46 Yorktown toolbox. I didn't…

Inconvenient to use and doesn't stay folded

I really thought it would be a new solution for carrying "organized" tools. I used two tool bags with gates. Items such as combination wrenches, sockets, actuators, etc. have been separated into various zippered canvas pockets. The rolled pouch did not "roll" evenly or smoothly. Imagine throwing all your tools onto a sleeping bag, laying them out, and then trying to roll them up. Does not happen. Even after "rolling up" and connecting the two buckles, the straps do not stay tight. To be honest,

Soft fabric, poor stitching

I was very happy with this bag for the first 3 months that I had it. As soon as I received it, I filled it with hand tools. It took up little space and was easy to carry. The large square pocket at the top is great for carrying spare electrical components such as fuses, electrical tape, wires, terminals, stripping/crimping tools and wires. I never over-stuffed the bags so the load was evenly distributed. This was kept in my box in the back of my jeep - out of sight of thieves and out of the…

Perfect off-road tool kit

I bought this to put together my off-road tool kit. We go on an overland adventure and pack a jeep for each trip. I currently have a set of 20 pound tools on my roll on the shelf ready for other equipment. Large pockets make storage easier. Sockets in one, ratchets/extenders in a second, wrenches in a third, pliers in a fourth, and so on. Fits deep in Jeep easily (passenger legroom), fits better than a hard square tool box, DOESN'T GET DIRTY and is holding up great so far. Used once on a long…

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Easy repairability

We were looking for an organized solution for roofing tools and parts. Tool boxes slide off the roof – this tool roll can be placed and attached to the roof like Velcro. This tool roll is made of durable canvas and has the best zipper ever - this combination of thick canvas and large zippers with large blades makes it easy to operate with one hand, even when wearing gloves. Other instrument reels we tried were made of much lighter material and had cheap zippers that snagged and required…

Excellent value for money

Well I saw this concept the other day and I liked it but the prices range from $15 to $50 for different brands so I wanted to see where the differences lie. A $15 bag is great, but if it only lasts a few months, it's better to buy a better one. I bought four bags: Bucket Boss Super ToolRugged Tools TitanHRXHersent Super Tool Roll. I have another Bucket Boss bag and am happy with it. with it, so I had high hopes for this mix bag. The thickness and quality of the fabric is much higher than $15-20

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Pretty good

TORCH STORAGE I SHOULD BUY OLD

When Sears released a whole line of Craftsman tools a few years ago, I took advantage of the ridiculous price and bought several sets of different heads. . I won't go into pricing, but these were standard kits, just sockets in plastic bags. They also had ratchets - three different ones in a plastic bag, a set. I wanted to stock up to have a truck tool kit on hand. The problem is that I've never found a good "portable" way to carry these tools other than a full "tool chest" which I didn't have…
