Lightweight yet durable portable drive

Well made but lightweight and compact, ideal for travel or limited work or storage space. Using the included Thunderbolt 3 adapter, I was able to connect to my Mac right away.

Using on PS5 to save and run PS4 games

All my PS4 games have been moved from PS5 internal storage to this storage. Games load just as fast here as they do on the internal memory. If you've been wondering if an external SSD is good enough to play and store PS4 games, look no further.

SSD is the best device, so don't stress!

I am so happy to find a Buffalo SSD because I used a Buffalo SSD when I was in Japan. This is a very popular and trusted group in Japan and this SSD is the BEST seller on Amazon in Japan. I use this device for my PS4 which makes the loading time 15 seconds (was 90 seconds+) so no hassle!

Clean, fast drive suitable for external SSDs

The first impression is that the hard drive is solid and small. It's great that it comes with a USB cable and Type-C adapter. One of the best things is that there's no malware on the drive - just a blank drive, a welcome change. A quick speed test with a 700MB video file showed a write speed of 200MB/s and a read speed of 160MB/s. No problem playing Full HD high bitrate videos.

DO NOT BUY! I lost all my data in just 2 weeks.

Seems like a lot. Low price, great storage options, and great Revain reviews. But after only 2-3 weeks of use, my Mac stopped recognizing this drive! I plug it in and the light flashes amber and blue after being solid blue for 30 seconds. Disk Utility and Finder don't know my drive is connected. As a result, I can no longer access ANY of my data. I contacted Buffalo about their recovery service. After several days of communicating and sharing information, they finally turned me over to another…
