Used to move the dryer in a newly purchased 1960's home. I watched a short video on You Tube for installation as the instructions weren't specific to my project. Enter a name with item number and also set it for video. I didn't pay attention to the clamps in the kit, but I was able to assemble them easily.

Very happy with the purchase. While it was a bit difficult for a novice DIYer to make sure they didn't kink too much after attaching the dryer, the process didn't take long. This is great quality at an affordable price. I would recommend it to a friend.

We had problems with the dryer consistently producing a clean filter. It turned out that the hose was kinked. We bought knee vents and that made a small difference. The hair dryer works better and the hose is not pinched. Highly recommended even if it's more expensive than other options.

Elbows didn't rotate when they arrived. I applied WD 40 to the rotating areas and worked back and forth until the rotation was free. Secure the elbow as close as possible to the dryer with the supplied clamp and the elbow as close to the wall as possible with the supplied clamp. The distance from the dryer to the wall is 5 1/2 inches. The old vent hose was kinked when the dryer was first installed. Now the drying time has been shortened!

It arrives so compact I doubted it would reach the required length but my technician who delivered my new dryer said they cheat, but it would work. Then he went to stretch it, which wasn't easy for a person, so I finished. Halfway through the removal it tore in the middle. I would either pay more and get a solid pipe, or get a cheaper one. This marriage of the two definitely didn't work out.
