BUILT 5237208 Freezeable Insulated 18 Ounce Review

You have to strain to suck the drink from this mug. This isn't usually a problem, but since I was given this specifically for tonsillectomy recovery, it wasn't acceptable to me.

My daughter is a hit when she pulls out her "icy" water bottle. Worked well on the hot days of summer camp. I freeze it and add cold water before sending it to storage. She says the water stays nice and cold and everyone raves about her #dadooftheyear bottle.

I was struggling to find a water bottle with a double wall, drinking straw and flip top cap. When I found these I was very pleased. I bought one in blue and one in lavender. I don't find the freezing functions to keep the water as cold as I would like. The biggest disappointment is that my lip often gets sucked into the hole when sucking water. It makes an annoying noise. It must be a design flaw as I don't have this problem with other bottles.

Frozen overnight, this bottle stays cold for a long time. I used to freeze a shaker bottle 3/4 full of water and fill up the rest in the morning. It was cold all day. But one day it was full and cracked in the freezer. I was happy to find this water freezing bottle at a decent price. I freeze it overnight, take it out in the morning and fill it up with cold tap water and by 10am it's not much colder than room temperature. PLUS, the straw/teat only allows tiny sips. I would have to take 4 "sips"
