When I first received this bottle I was completely amazed at how it works. Push the lever button to open, just squeeze a little to close. The reason I don't really like this bottle is because I forget I never closed it and end up putting it in my purse causing a spill. And the plastic cap is difficult to clean, so I prefer to just use water with this bottle.

I wanted to love this bottle from the build. I have a few other ones including a 12 ounce short drink bottle that I just love. This hat design is not good. If it's open, too much water will come out through an opening that's too wide. I literally poured myself and tried to drink from it. I'm a careful drinker and have a lot of different bottles so I can spot poor design from a mile away. I have used Built products for many years and I particularly like the Built 'welded' portable cooler. This particular bottle is well made and fits all of my water bottle holders and cup holders in my car. The top has a sophisticated mechanism, almost reliable. Simply push the button and the lid pops open while remaining virtually watertight. Love how it works, even better than my Yeti Rambler 20 oz. Admittedly, it's a bit of a hassle to open at first, but I found it easier to manage after a few
