Lamps give off a beautiful light. The metal gets very hot

Lamps emit beautiful light. The metal gets very hot. I didn't think about it and kept it in a candlestick by my bed. My daughter touched one and burned her finger.

Pros
  • Light reflecting back towards the lamp
Cons
  • I will add later

All the Bulbrite products I've used have been great. This is a special design with a semi chrome top so you don't have to look at the bulb. I use it on a ceiling fan that uses these tiny bulbs but I'm very happy with them as you don't get any direct glare.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor, pendant, restaurant and retail lighting
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Other

Extremely fragile, not very good quality control

I bought 2 of these bulbs for a pair of kitchen trailers. The first bulb broke at the base, just when screwing in - even with a light touch. It's still burning but obviously not safe. The second didn't break, but my other complaint is that the mirror surface isn't perfectly even around the bulb. If you're installing a light with an opaque tint (or no tint), that's probably fine. However, if you have matte or translucent hues, uneven reflection will leave a very prominent and very oblique shadow

Pros
  • 25w, 40w, 60w and 100w
Cons
  • Very expensive
