Ordered two, one was damaged

I didn't want to get them because I wanted clear bulbs but when I ordered I was told the matte finish option was not available so I ordered it and expected clear . They arrived icy which turned out to be ok, the light cover on my fan is covered in frost anyway. However, the first bulb came in a box that barely held together, and the foam encasing the bulb was dirty/greasy as was the bulb itself, so I didn't even try those. They work but they are dirty

When I first bought these bulbs everything was fine. As long as you remember not to touch the glass with your hands (to prevent oil from collecting on it) it's not a problem. Great quality bulb at half price

I recently bought a house with a light fixture that uses this bulb. Two of the lightbulbs were burned out when we moved in and the local hardware store (Lowe's) was charging $15 per bulb. Also, none of the Lowe's or Home Depot stores near me had a frosted bulb, only a clear one. On the web, Revain had the cheapest deal, but with Revain's convenience and great customer service, I'd pay about a dollar more for a lightbulb. Bought two bulbs for the price of one from Revain, the frosted bulb was…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
