Disappointed with knitting and crocheting

This is half the diameter of the same yarn I got from Joann Fabrics. I understand the batch count but didn't think the size would be that wide. Now this color is hard to find.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Very expensive

Love this yarn!: Knitting & Crocheting

Even though it's a bit difficult to work with, I love using Lion Brand Homespun because I love how it works. Using the blue yarn I ordered, I knit a prayer shawl for a friend who had just lost her husband.

I love this thread brand

I learned to knit hats and scarves. I've been making these for years and love the mixed colors of the Lions Brand wavy yarn. This gives it a thicker feel with no lumps or thicker yarn.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Exchange option

Soft and beautiful for knitting and crocheting

Not the easiest yarn to work with, but the finished product is very soft to the touch. I prefer crocheting to knitting. The colorful Montana sky is as beautiful as the big Montana sky itself!

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • No work

Inconsistent - Knitting and Crocheting

Looks like Lionbrand has changed the materials used in their home-spun yarn. The new balls have a white label and are not as soft and silky as the old ones. This yarn (or at least this Edwardian color) sheds a lot of fibers; it didn't when I used it in the past. The strands I received are also twisted unevenly. Some sections are thin enough to appear athletic, while others are thick and chunky, like a very bulky yarn. upset.

Pros
  • Durable Finish
Cons
  • Damaged

Love Lion's Homespun yarn but

I first bought this yarn from a local store. Of course I bought the last two strands. The desert is painted the color was amazing the colors are amazing and bright I couldn't find it again in any store in my rural settlement so I ordered more of this paint online. The batch of dyes was so different from the original. Very grey. Colors are muted. Very disappointed with my purchase. I would buy this yarn again. It's incredibly soft and easy to work with, but only if I can have it made at a shop…

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember
