Disappointing Performance of Lock Grips

As a powersports enthusiast, I was excited to see this product available. However, the excitement faded quickly once I put it to the test. Electronics on the lock grip let me down, leaving me with a sense of unease while out riding. As a result of my tests, I determined that this product is not worth the investment.

Pros
  • None
Cons
  • Unreliable electronics.

Works with a bit of tweaking

I'm using this on a Goldwing with Kuryakyn ISO cranks. It barely fits on the handlebars when it comes out of the box. I thought this might be a problem when I bought it but decided to give it a try. I used sandpaper on the drill bit to make the handle part bigger. Now it works great. I don't understand why the manufacturer didn't make it a little bigger to fit the ISO cranks which are very popular with tall bike owners. Otherwise it works great.

Pros
  • Motorcycle & Powersports
Cons
  • Some issues

Poor quality Alarm and anti-theft device

A little over a month went by and then I couldn't open the lock with any of the keys. Had to call a locksmith to pick the lock (which he did with no problem so not sure how secure it is) at a cost of $50. Revain let me return it even though 39 days had passed (very valuable) but I only got back $10 less than it was worth (not sure if it was a restocking fee or something, it wasn't explained). So it was basically $60 out of my pocket for a little over a month. I suggest you look elsewhere.

Pros
  • Alarm and anti-theft device
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
